Quiet pup. Easy going. This litter whelped in the heat so the pups did not stay with mom (too hot) but moved around and sprawled out, sometimes loosing their way. therefore they had to talk to get moms attention after the initial 3-4 days of mom trying to bury them in her coat. This pup was bought and sold before it even got here by an elderly gal of my age that was in dire need of a stability dog. She has been watching my dogs since way back in 1987 and is a Rottweiler fan, but... health issues took her last Rott at 2 yrs old after putting in 2 years worth of individual time and effort in training. This was a 'specific' sale and a 'my pick' pup. The PICK OF THE LITTER is the male pup and I am sacrificing him for this sale. Napkin will have more pups in her next season and i have the patience to wait. Please read Cuz's brothers notes.
Health Record
Special needs pup required early amputation of tail for the needs of her new owner. Amputation was done at 3 days old after health check ups. Medications/applications were done 3 times a day. Healing started within 5 hours and took a max of 3 days. Pup is strongbred and never blinked an eye.
At three days old, bones are like cartilage and I prefer to do such things very early so that it is easier on the body. As I said, this is a special need for the new owner and It bothered the HELL out of me.
The pup was not bothered much at all, but I was. I had a very long chat with the new owner and she was very grateful that I had her back on this.
The new owner has a lot of leg issues being very sensitive and was afraid the dogs tail might send her to the hospital. So don't judge me on this. This puppy was destined to be a service dog and is NOT a pet. This dog is the last dog this gal will ever have. The owner will die with this dog beside her and the dog is willed to her daughter to continue its service. Contracts are special and are written up and signed. This dog goes nowhere but back to me if any issues arise.
